Sex during adolescence 13th February 2006, 16:57
In adolescence, when all teenagers live in groups with people of the same age, it’s common they wear similar clothes and have a model of behavior. Some of them are seen as ‘leaders’ and have determined attitudes that are followed by the others. Along with this fact often comes the so-called pressure to have sex, where those who haven’t have this experience yet feel dislocated and with wish to lose virginity as soon as possible.
According to Associated Press, the boys are more likely to get pressured to have sex. The study says that one in each three boys reports feeling this pressure, compared with 23 percent of girls. The majority of teens also think that waiting to have sex is a good idea, but nobody really does it. Many of them believe that waiting is a myth and having sex makes them nice – nice to their male friends, from where comes the pressure. With this pressure, comes the impulsion to use drugs and alcohol, for both boys and girls.
Using these substances – what they usually do before having sex – many of them engage in a sexual activity without protection, increasing the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). In spite of the teen pregnancy and birth rates have been falling for a decade, due the use of condoms and other forms of birth control, the teens seem to forget the protection when drunk, having a risky sex. The study says that one in five teenagers had unprotected sex after drinking or using drugs.
The pressure to have sex may make teens to regret later – teen girls are more likely to say they wish they had waited to have sex. In order to deal with it, the adolescents should ask themselves if someone is pressuring them to have sex, why they want to do it and if they can talk with their partners openly and honestly. Talking with a trusty adult about the decision and providing all the protection to have safer sex also helps. The teens could also ask the school to create a support office along with psychologist and sexologist feedback so as aid to solve their doubts and therefore distribute condoms.

Mr. Burns 1st August 2005, 15:18
Montgomery Burns, the head of Springfield's nuclear power plant, is the cold-hearted billionaire that once attempted to block out the town's sun. He's got a heart of green, and his brittle body might disintigrate at any time, but fans enjoy his antics and ability to rule with an iron, arthritc thumb.

Homer 20th July 2005, 17:06
The Simpsons Gone Wild contains four episodes from the long-running hit series. The set opens with "Homer's Night Out" (Episode 10 from Season One, original airdate: 3/25/90), in which Homer (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) goes to a bachelor party at a local restaurant. Unbeknownst to Homer, Marge (voiced by Julie Kavner) has decided to take the kids, Bart (voiced by Nancy Cartwright), Lisa (voiced by Yeardley Smith), and Maggie (?) to that same eating establishment. Bart, who's just received his mini-spy camera in the mail, sneaks into the back room and snaps a picture of Homer strutting his stuff with a belly-dancer. Soon, copies of the scandalous photo are all over Springfield, and Homer is in big trouble.
